Volunteers
Apply to be a Bullard ISD Volunteer
At Bullard ISD, we are thankful for parents, grandparents, community members and organziations, and business partners who give their time to support our students. Volunteers help us create amazing experiences for kids and are truly an essential part of our Panther family!
Safety First
Student safety is always our top priority. That’s why all volunteers must complete an online Volunteer Application and background check before serving on campus.
How to Get Started
- Complete the quick online Volunteer Application (includes background check).
2. Wait for approval.
- You’ll receive an email letting you know when your application is approved—or if we need more information.
3. Bring your driver's license the first time you volunteer.
- The campus receptionist will scan it into our Raptor system for safety verification.
4. Check in each time you volunteer.
- During the school day, sign in at the front office to receive your printed volunteer badge—please wear it at all times.
- After school hours (for example, band, cheer, or drill team chaperones), check in directly with your program sponsor.
Volunteer vs. Guest - What's the Difference?
We love having both guests and volunteers on campus! Here’s how they differ:
Campus Guest
- Attends one-time events such as class parties, lunch with your child, awards assemblies, or performances.
- No application is required.
Volunteer
- Routinely helps in ways that directly support students or staff (mentors, chaperones, PTO volunteers, classroom/cafeteria helpers, after-school community clubs, etc.).
- Must complete the online volunteer application and background check before serving.
Once You're Approved
Once you receive your approval email, you’re ready to volunteer!
- Bring your driver’s license the first time you sign in—after that, you’ll just check in at the front office each visit.
- Approved volunteers will receive a badge during school hours or will check in with their program sponsor after school.
Thank you for helping make Bullard ISD an incredible place to learn, grow, and serve. We couldn’t do it without you!
