Enrollment

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT BEGINS on TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2024.  

If none of your students are enrolled in Bullard ISD, or if you are new to the district, you will need to first click here to create a Family Access account in Skyward. Here are specific instructions for creating new accounts.

If you are an existing family who needs to add a new student, or have finished newly creating an account, navigate to the Skyward log in screen here and switch the dropdown box at the bottom of the screen from "All Areas" to "New to District Registration" before you log in. Upon signing in, it should automatically launch the new student application. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Guardian Info- Bullard ISD uses the ParentSquare  communications platform for all school-to-home communications and emergency alerts. Only individuals listed as Guardians in Skyward will receive ParentSquare access. Therefore, please be sure the guardian information is complete with a correct email and phone number. You can find more information on ParentSquare here.  

*For Kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024.

Documents Needed for Enrollment

You will need the following required documents for enrollment. Please scan and submit these documents with your online enrollment application. If you do not have access to scan your documents, you must take the documents to the campus secretary as part of the enrollment process.

1. Parent/Legal Guardian Picture ID
2. Proof of Residency (please see below)
3. Withdrawal from Other School or Year-End Report Card
4. Immunization Records
5. Birth Certificate
6. Social Security Card

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation page when the applications are successfully submitted. A parent can select "Continue to Enroll Additional Students" to begin the application for another student. Repeated information will be pre-populated for each additional student. 

The campus secretary will then be in touch to verify additional information or to give further instructions.

Returning Families

Online Registration for all RETURNING students is now open. 

To complete the enrollment/registration process, log into  Skyward Family Access and complete the screens. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

Guardian Info - Please be sure all parent/guardian info is current with a correct email and phone number. The guardian information syncs with ParentSquare (our district school-to-home communications and emergency alert system). Only names listed as Guardians in Skyward will have access to ParentSquare accounts. 

Existing families who need to enroll a new students - Existing families who need to enroll a new student (kindergarten for example) will need to complete the new student application for that student. Once the application is submitted, registrars call the parent to confirm the information and will then link the new student to the existing family account.

Bullard ISD offers both tuition Pre-K and Head Start for qualifying families. Feel free to contact Bullard Early Childhood at 903-894-6389 with questions. 

Requirements for Registration: 

• Must live in the Bullard ISD School district
• Must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024
• For Early Childhood Special Education, must be 3 years old AND qualify through a special education evaluation through Bullard ISD. 

Required Documentation:

• Your current driver's license with your current address
• Your child's certified birth certificate
• Your child's social security card
• Proof of residency-- electric or water bill with your current name and address
• Up-to-date immunization records
• Proof of income for PK registration only-- last 2 months of pay stubs for all working adults in the household
• ESG card # (food stamps confirmation number)

Bullard ISD is a closed district. However, we do have a paid tuition transfer program for kindergarten through 12th grade students (Pre-K students must live within the Bullard ISD zone) dependent upon space available.  It is an application (acceptance) process with a deadline of June 30th.  The tuition price is $3,000 for one student, $5,000 for two students, and $6,000 for three or more students.  The applications can be picked up in our administration office located at 1426B South Houston St. in Bullard (the building between Panther Stadium and First Baptist Church).
