Hi! I'm Kristi Peer. I am so excited to begin my third year as a second grade teacher at Bullard Primary. I graduated from UTTyler in 1994 with a BS in Early Childhood Education/English. Over the course of 22 years, I have taught a total of 12 years in first and second grades. I had the privilege of staying home for a while with my children and helping my husband with his building business. This is my third year to teach in Bullard, and I absolutely love it!
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Matthew for 22 years and we have two precious children. Jackson is in 10th grade and my daughter Crosby is in 9th grade. I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs, taking walks, reading, and taking pictures. We are very active in members at FBC South Tyler. We are also very involved with a ministry to Ugandan children and pastors (PCM – Parental Care Ministries). I have traveled to Uganda with PCM twice. This is a ministry I am very passionate about. My class will hear me talk about my Ugandan friends.
I have a passion and love for teaching and helping young children learn and reach their potential for reading and learning. I followed God’s leading back to the classroom three years ago, and I am so excited to meet my new class of 2nd grade sweeties!
