School Librarians serve as active partners in the teaching and learning process by promoting a love of reading and literature and ensuring all students are able to freely choose age-appropriate materials of interest in their campus library. You can view all library catalogs to see current titles available at each campus.
Instructional Design
Inquiry provides a framework for learning. Students are taught to locate, select, evaluate and use information appropriately and effectively.
Reading is a foundational skill for learning, personal growth and enjoyment. It is encouraged at all grade levels through various promotional and instructional activities designed to develop successful readers.
Library users employ technology to locate materials and information, circulate items, collaborate with each other and create products.
The library collection is varied, balanced and current. It features information in multiple formats for all needs and interests, supports the curriculum and is appealing to library users.
The library is flexibly scheduled so that learners may use the library independently and at point of need.

Bullard ISD is seeking community input on the purchase of books. Please complete the form linked below if you would like to provide comments or feedback on proposed book purchases for our school libraries. These comments will be reviewed by a committee of campus and district staff as part of the book approval process.
