The Bullard ISD Board of Trustees Bullard ISD Trustees recognized the accomplishments of our outstanding students and staff during the regular monthly meeting on Feb. 26, 2024.
The District Students of the Month are Charlotte Turman, a fourth-grader at Bullard Elementary School, and Brooke Minton, a senior at Bullard High School.

The February Employee of the Month is Jessica Pace, district lead nurse and campus nurse at Bullard Middle School. Jessica is a shining example of what it means to be a caring health professional. She leads our health services department with great passion and skill, and she's always ready to respond to medical emergencies across the district. Her guidance and assistance have truly made a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

The Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) recognizes exemplary student achievement in Visual Arts by high school art students and programs! At this year's competition, 22 out of 25 entries from BHS students made a 4 at the district level and advanced to Area judging. Ultimately two students advanced to the State level later this spring. Congrats, students!
Heidi Gaden with Texas Association of School Boards presented a student scholarship check of $1,000 that was won at the recent Region VII Grassroots meeting earlier this month. Trustee Chris McNertney's name was drawn from the attendees present to receive the scholarship.
