Trustees recognize student achievements during December monthly board meeting

During the regular December monthly meeting, the Bullard ISD Board of Trustees recognized the achievements of our outstanding students and staff! 

Our two District students of the month are Allyson Fukuchi, a fifth-grader at Bullard Intermediate, and Emma Glaser, an eighth-grader at Bullard Middle School! 👏🏻

Our Employee of the Month is Bullard Intermediate School nurse Shelby Allen! 👏🏻

Mrs. Allen has repeatedly shown a level of care and compassion with both staff and students.  She is calm under pressure and approaches all situations with the same commitment and passion. Mrs. Allen has been present for medical emergencies over the years, including one this year, and she is a blessing to the BIS family.

Also recognized was Bullard High School junior Franzi Boehm. She created the cover art for the Bullard ISD district holiday card! 👏🏻

And a special congrats to the Bullard Panther Band for your amazing accomplishments during the marching season this year! Most notably, the band earned a bronze medal at the UIL State Military Marching Band contest! And, at their UIL twirling competition, all ten twirlers received first division for their solos and ensembles and will compete at the state competition this spring! 👏🏻
