Trustees recognize student achievements during the April monthly board meeting

The Bullard ISD Board of Trustees recognized the outstanding achievements of students and staff during the regularly scheduled April monthly meeting. 

The District Elementary Student of the Month is Sophia Ferry, a second-grader at Bullard Primary School. The District Secondary Student of the Month is Elise Ellis, a senior at Bullard High School. Watch this video to learn more about Sophia and Elise. 

The District Employee of the Month is Bullard High School theatre teacher Kati McKinney. Mrs. McKinney spends many hours outside the classroom to prepare students for performances. She builds a culture of acceptance and encouragement, and students thrive in her classroom. Her love for her craft and students is evident in everything she does. The Employee of the Month program is sponsored by Cooperative Teachers Credit Union.

Texas Association of School Boards Region 7 Director Tony Raymond presented Bullard High School's audio/video program with a $5,000 prize for winning TASB's Student Video Contest. 

BMS Pom Squad celebrated an award-winning competition season earning many top finishes in team and officer routines.

Boys and Girls soccer teams and tennis experienced successful seasons this year!
