Legal Update: Starting this school year, House Bill 1481 prohibits students from using cell phones and personal communication devices during the school day while on school property. If brought on campuses, personal communication devices must be kept turned off or silenced in a student’s bag and shall remain out of sight at all times between arrival and dismissal.
