Learn more about the Bullard ISD Board of Trustees
According to www.TASB.org, Texas boasts over 1,000 school districts, making school board trustees the state's largest cohort of elected officials, exceeding 7,000 in number. When they take their oath of office to serve on local school boards, these volunteers dedicate countless hours to supporting their school communities, striving to create impactful educational experiences and opportunities that equip students for college, careers, and future endeavors.
“TASB appreciates everything trustees do on behalf of our 5.5 million public school children in Texas,” said Rolinda Schmidt, TASB President. “Their strong local governance, and partnership with parents and teachers, is the foundation for ensuring our students have the skills and experiences they need to help build tomorrow’s Texas.”
Beyond their involvement in regular school board meetings, trustees act as ambassadors and champions for their school districts within their communities and in Austin.
