Fun for All
Last Friday, 27 Kindergarten through 12th-grade students from Bullard ISD participated in the Brownsboro Blue and Gold Games. The Blue and Gold Games allow students to participate in 10 sports-related activities designed especially for them.
“Our students, staff, and volunteers had a great time at the Blue and Gold Games,” Shelley Pinkerton, Bullard ISD Director of Special Education, said. “Not only did students have fun, but they were also able to practice skill sets and coordination activities that benefit them daily.”
Several surrounding school districts participated in the games. Students rotated through each station in 30-minute intervals, and the stations included an obstacle course, bowling, putt-putt, soccer kick, races, and more.
“We are so thankful to Brownsboro ISD for their hard work in hosting the event and bringing smiles to our students' faces,” Pinkerton said. “We look forward to participating again next year!”
