Bullard Softball wins 4AD1 State Championship!

2026 softball players and coaches lift state championship trophy

Congratulations to Bullard Softball for winning its first state championship in program history!

After earning its 7th undefeated district championship title in a row, Bullard Softball entered the UIL 4A Div 1 playoff season, where it would face Vidor, Huffman Hargrave, Sealy, Livingston, and softball powerhouse Corpus Christi Calallen. Bullard swept each opponent by winning two games and not forcing a game three in either showdown. Bullard continued its outstanding season in the championship final by taking down Prosper Richland 3-0 to secure the state title on Friday, May 29, 2026, on Red and Charline McCombs Field on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin.

Bullard pitcher Brooklyn Brannen's performance on the mound and behind the plate earned her the game's Most Valuable Player award. Five players were named to the State All-Tournament team:

Brooklyn Brannen, Senior, Pitcher

Lila Robertson, Junior, Catcher

Emery Baker, Senior, 3rd Base

Kirstin Malone, Senior, Shortstop

Kenzi Roberts, Senior, Outfielder

Congratulations, Bullard Softball! We are #BullardProud of you!
