Bullard Panther Signing Day
Congratulations to three Bullard Panther student-athletes for signing to play their sport at the collegiate level.
Brayden Vining, a school multi-record holder, will run track and cross country at Louisiana Tech University. In track, Brayden is the BHS school record holder in the 400m Dash (51.04), 800m Dash (1:54.53), 1600m Run (4:24), and 4x400m Relay (3:25.30). He was also the 2024 state qualifier in the 800m, 2025 district champion in the 400m, 800m & 1600m, and 2025 area champion in the 800m. He has also accomplished great things in cross country over his high school career, qualifying for regional and state meets.
"Brayden is very conscientious in his training schedule," head track coach Al Troyer said. "He sets high goals and strives hard to accomplish those goals. He is a model of character, dependability, honesty, integrity, and caring, and he shows his leadership ability by example."
Hayden Ashton will play soccer at East Texas Baptist University. For Bullard Panther Soccer, Hayden recorded 290 minutes on the pitch with 36 saves.
"Hayden was a great addition to our team this year," varsity boys soccer coach Andrew Eisenbacher said. "Though his time as a Panther was short, he leaves a great impact on our program and will be missed so much!"
Dylan Ayers will also play soccer but a little further north. He will play at Northwest Iowa Community College. Dylan contributed 190 minutes on the pitch for Bullard Panther Soccer and recorded 22 saves.
Eisenbacher says, "Dylan is a once-in-a-lifetime player. His determination has been excellent in his soccer career. The ground he has gained in his four short years of playing is extraordinary! I am extremely proud of him and lucky to have been his coach!"
