Braden Herring has joined the Bullard ISD family as its new technology director.

Herring comes to Bullard from China Spring ISD, where he served as executive director of technology and cyber security coordinator since May 2022.

"We are excited to welcome Mr. Herring to our Panther family," Superintendent Dr. Jack Lee said. "Part of our mission in Bullard is to build relationships with our students, staff, and community. Mr. Herring also shares in this mission and works to create, implement, and maintain strong technological infrastructures supporting students and staff to help achieve their goals."

Before his time in China Spring ISD, Herring served in other east and central Texas school districts. He was the director of technology at Eanes ISD after being the assistant director of technology at Athens ISD. He has also worked as a systems engineer, technology assistant, and network administrator at Tyler, Malakoff, and Elkhart ISDs, respectively.

"I am excited to return to my East Texas roots,” Herring said. “Bullard is an outstanding school district, and I look forward to joining in their mission of building relationships, inspiring learning, serving the community, and developing character."
