Bullard ISD earns "B" in TEA Accountability Ratings

Bullard ISD has earned a “B” rating from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for the 2025-2026 school year, with an overall district score of 89. The 89 score is a one-point improvement over the 2024-2025 district score of 88.

“Just like we tell our students, improvement of any kind is always a win worth celebrating,” Bullard ISD Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum Jodie Albritton said. “We are proud of the progress our students and teachers made over the previous year. Every campus improved in at least one area, with the district earning large gains in Closing the Gaps indicators. We will celebrate this progress while continuing to identify opportunities to grow and move our students forward to achieving even greater results.”

Bullard ISD campus results for grades 3-12 are listed below:  

• Bullard Elementary School (Grades 3–4) earned an “A” rating with a 92 score and received two TEA Academic Distinctions in Top 25% Comparative Academic Growth and Academic Achievement in Mathematics.
• Bullard Intermediate School (Grades 5-6 in the 2025-26 school year grade structure) received a “B” rating with a score of 85, an improvement over its score of 82 for the 2024-2025 school year.
• Bullard Middle School (Grades 7-8) earned a “B” rating with a score of 87.
• Bullard High School (Grades 9-12) jumped 5 points to a score of 94 and an "A" rating over its 2024-2025 score of 89 and earned a Top 25% Comparative Closing the Gaps distinction.  

The district’s results reflect the continued efforts of Bullard ISD students, teachers, staff, and families to build on academic success and provide opportunities for every student to grow and achieve.
