Bullard ISD CFO selected to TASB Risk Management Fund Board of Trustees

Bullard ISD Chief Financial Officer Ramsey Starks has been chosen to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Risk Management Fund.

The board meets quarterly and is responsible for making policies, strategic planning, and executing the Fund’s mission to provide comprehensive risk solutions to Texas public schools.

"Bullard ISD participates with TASB Risk Management Fund for property and casualty insurance, workers' compensation, and unemployment insurance,” Starks said. “Being involved through the board allows us, Bullard ISD, to have a voice in setting policies and analyzing costs to better serve our district, our staff, and most importantly, our students. I am honored and excited to represent Bullard ISD in this endeavor."

The Fund board appoints members to ensure representative and experienced leadership from across the state. According to the Fund's bylaws, board member terms are for three years, with a cap of no more than five full terms.
