Bullard FFA's Chayton McCurley to join Eastern Oklahoma State livestock judging team
Bullard FFA standout senior Chayton McCurley is set to join Eastern Oklahoma State College's livestock judging team on a full tuition scholarship.
Chayton's career in Bullard FFA has seen numerous awards and top finishes across a multitude of agricultural competitions. Last year, McCurley and his Bullard livestock judging team were ranked 10th in the state. Other awards include being a top-scoring individual at the Texas A&M University judging camp and placing as the 25th high individual in the state FFA contest.
McCurley first caught the attention of Eastern Oklahoma State College as a freshman when he won a $500 scholarship for being a top finisher in a contest. The college has since become special to Chayton because it is also the alma mater of Bullard ag teacher Stu Dildine, who has coached Chayton in livestock judging for the last six years.
Eastern Oklahoma State College's livestock judging team has a rich tradition of winning competitions and preparing students for successful career opportunities.
Congratulations, Chayton!
