Board of Trustees recognize student, staff achievements at monthly meeting

Students who scored 100% on STAAR exams stand with board members

At the regular monthly Bullard ISD Board of Trustees meeting on September 9, 2024, Trustees recognized the accomplishments of two groups of outstanding students and staff.

First, six students scored 100% on portions of their STAAR exams last spring. This means they got every question on the exam correct. Hannah Foster, Kyler Kostan, and Cole Quesenberry scored 100% in 4th-grade Math. Collin Morris and Joseph Nash scored 100% in 7th-grade math. Ryder Nelson scored 100% in Algebra 1 in 8th Grade.

The Board also recognized our latest group of Bullard ISD Employee Scholarship recipients. Funded through the Rainwater Grant, the Bullard ISD Employee Scholarship awards financial assistance to full-time employees who are seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree. The application process requires candidates to submit a professional resume and course transcript, along with essay and video responses to application questions. Congratulations to Christina Ault from Bullard Early Childhood, Alison Walker from Bullard Middle School, Adrian Saenz from Bullard Primary, and Emily Smith from Bullard Primary.
