Board of Trustees approve 2025-26 District Calendar

The Bullard ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025-2026 District Academic Calendar during its regular monthly meeting on March 10, 2025. The calendar sets the first day of school as Wednesday, Aug. 13, and the last day of school as Thursday, May 21. Graduation for the Class of 2026 will be Friday, May 22.
"Each year, we work to create a school calendar that works best for our staff, students, and the community, " Superintendent Dr. Jack Lee said. "As we do every year, we considered input provided by our staff, families, and community. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive. We did have requests to move Spring Break back a week, however, we always follow the same Spring Break schedule as Tyler Junior College (TJC) to best accommodate our high school students who participate in the dual credit program through TJC. Overall, the approved 2025-26 calendar is similar to this year's calendar."
The 2025-26 District Academic Calendar continues with six-week grading periods followed by an Employee Workday/PD day at the end of each grading period.
