Planning for the Future: BHS holds College Fair
Bullard High School students recently had the opportunity to visit with representatives from 44 colleges, trade schools, and military branches at the school's annual College Fair.
"This type of event is so important to our students to give them exposure to all the different types of opportunities available to them after high school," BHS counselor Laura Hunter said. "Many times, students think college means an expensive place with harder classes where they learn more English and Math. But there are so many schools where you can get hands-on, real-world job training on a very reasonable budget. Hopefully, our college fair will help open their eyes to various ways to further their education after high school."
East Texas Communities Foundation was also on hand to discuss various scholarship opportunities.
