The University Interscholastic League (UIL) has selected Bullard ISD to be the host site for the 4A Region III track meet on Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29. Approximately 50 school districts throughout Region III will be competing in Panther Stadium, and we expect large crowds over those two days.
Because we have extra instructional minutes built into the district calendar that we did not have to use for bad weather make-up, we have adjusted the school calendar to make Friday, April 28, a school holiday (no school for students or staff). This will help free up the high school parking lot, along with district coaches, staff, and volunteers who are needed to help support a meet of this size and quality.
April School Holidays are now April 7 & April 10 (already scheduled), and April 28 (added).
