Meal Prices

We encourage students and faculty to prepay their meals. Meals can be prepaid on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Please make sure Early Childhood, Primary, and Elementary students send their money in an envelope with the student’s name on it. Payment may be made at any time during the school day and on any campus.

  • All Bullard ISD students will be able to receive free breakfast and lunch at school for the duration of the 2021-22 school year.

Typically, households have to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Application and qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture issued a nationwide waiver that allows schools to provide meals to all students at no cost.

To get a free meal, students must select the tray meal that comes with one fruit and one vegetable. Any Individual items purchased will be charged a la carte.

Although no application is required for students to receive free meals for the 2021-2022 school year, applications will be required for the 30-day carryover for the 2022-2023 school year. Bullard ISD is still urging families who may qualify for free or reduced-price meals to submit the Free and Reduced Lunch application.

There are several additional benefits that students can receive when a family qualifies and shares their eligibility status. In addition, Bullard ISD receives additional state and federal funding for each student who qualifies for free or reduced-price meals. These funds provide extra academic support and resources to students and schools.

Free and Reduced Lunch Applications are provided in back-to-school packets at the beginning of the school year or are available at any time through the school office.
