Don't forget about Service Hours!!

May events: Get your permission slips turned in and don't forget to bring your $15 for Six Flags!!!
May 8- Six Flags Trip
May 15- Special Olympics at the HS for those NJHS members that signed up at the April meeting.
Attention Members: You must be ON TIME to the meetings. In order to keep our meetings short, it is essential that we begin on time.  The door will be closed at 7:40 and you will not be allowed to enter after that.  NJHS is an organization based on responsibility, so please make a special effort to be on time.~ Officers will call with meeting reminders and changes as necessary.  Their phone calls are only to serve as an extra reminder and are not to be used as an excuse. REMEMBER, it is your responsibility to show us your report cards as soon as possible each 6 weeks. If you do not, this will count as a missed meeting!
OFFICERS: It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to call each member on your list either 1 or 2 nights before a meeting!!! If you need another call sheet – see Mrs. Ventress.

Service Project Information: Each member will be required to complete a service project during the year.  Failure to complete a service project will result in immediate dismissal.  You may choose any activity, but it must be approved by a sponsor prior to completion.  You must spend at least 4 hours on your service project and you cannot be paid or receive any compensation for your time.  You also may not do any service for immediate family members.  The service project form is to be returned to a sponsor by 3:00 p.m. on April 17, 2009.  You must sign the form as well as a parent or guardian and the person for whom you performed the service.  Failure to get all necessary signatures will result in your service hours being rejected.
