We sold 211 hoodies with a profit of $767.18. We can so much with that money. We owe it to you! ________________________________________________________________________ LOOK FOR PERMISSION SLIPS TO COME HOME NOVEMBER 27 FOR THE NURSING HOME FIELD TRIP ________________________________________________________________________ NJHS Calendar of Events for 2007 September 28        First meeting-- 7:30 a.m.—mandatory—we will discuss Induction October 4                 7:30 a.m. Rehearsal for Induction--mandatory Induction Ceremony: Bullard Middle School cafetorium—be there at 6:00 p.m.. Wear church-like attire. Induction begins at 6:30. Refreshments to follow. October 5                 October meeting—7:30 a.m.—discuss NJHS bylaws, Reading at Intermediate, charity, first fundraiser November  9            November meeting—7:30 a.m.—discuss various activities including a food drive, Angel tree, and Christmas caroling December 7              December meeting—7:30 a.m.—NJHS to Reunion Plaza for Caroling—leave school at 9:30 and return by 1:00. Wear NJHS shirt, or a red shirt with nice jeans, khakis, or a skirt. Bring a sack lunch. Everyone will make a Christmas card to take. December 14             Officer shopping trip for Angel Tree gifts—leave school around 9:00 and return by 2:30. January 11                January meeting—7:30—discuss Service projects, fundraisers, PowderPuff Attention Members: You must be ON TIME to the meetings. We have lots of information to cover in a short amount of time. It is essential that we begin on time, therefore the door will be closed at 7:40 and you will not be allowed to enter after that. We (Mrs. Conner and Mrs. Goode) feel this is necessary because in years past we had numerous children that missed important information because of being tardy. NJHS is an organization based on responsibility so please make special effort to be on time.  Officers should be calling you with any changes and with reminders but this is not an excuse to miss a meeting. It is just an EXTRA reminder J. REMEMBER to show us your report cards as soon as possible each 6 weeks. If you do not, this counts as  a missed meeting with us! OFFICERS: It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to call each member on your list either 1 or 2 nights before a meeting!!! If you need another call sheet – see Mrs. Goode.
