Rapid Web Designer by FirstClass Depot is a template-based web page development tool that allows the district to maintain a common look-and-feel from page-to-page/campus-to-campus. The banners are campus-related and contain the campus address and telephone number.
Step #1
Log into First Class
Step #2
Make sure the e-mail server name is correct. It should be mail.bullardisd.net. If you are not sure of the process, go to FirstClass Tutorials.
Step #3
In FirstClass, click on the Conference icon to display all conferences.
-- Find the RWD Builders conference in the left frame and double click over the conference
-- In the right frame, find the RWD_Building.REZ file and double-click
-- Click on the Update button
-- This process must be done each time you sit at a different computer
Note: You can work on your web site from any computer that is connected to the Internet and has the FirstClass client installed.
Step #4
Your web site appears as a conference on your FirstClass desktop, not under Web Publishing, and is associated with your campus.
-- Campus URLs:
bps.bullardisd.net
bes.bullardisd.net
bis.bullardisd.net
bms.bullardisd.net
bhs.bullardisd.net
-- Conference name:
FirstName_LastName for individual users, i.e., lee_sleeper
-- Accessed via the web as http://campusURL/teachers/firstname_lastname
If you have not had a web page, a link to your web site will not appear on the Teacher Home Page list. It will be added when you are ready to go public with your web site.
Step #5
Open your home page by double clicking over your web conference in the left frame and double clicking your Home Page in the right frame.
