Art Supply List 2009-2010
Crain
#1. Sketchbook: This is the most important thing for them to have. A (book-style, side) spiral sketchbook. It can be bought at Wal-Mart; (carries them for $5) , Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Target, Office Depot… Please no recycled paper sketchbooks. Try to keep the size to a regular 8’ by 10 inch size, a little larger is ok, but nothing smaller please. It needs to have at least 50 pages in it. They will use this spiral all semester for daily assignments and work.
2. Plain box of #2 pencils with erasers. I will not provide pencils for drawing.
3. Black fine point regular Sharpie. To be left in class box!
4. OPTIONAL: Canvas for 8th grade only. I will provide them with a durable piece of paper if you do not wish to purchase a canvas for their painting assignment. Please keep the size to a 16 x 20. Please do not buy anything larger because it is hard to store. They can drop their canvas off at my room to be held with their name on it and their class period.
