Choir Successes

BHS Choir Excels


ChoirState Solo


Members of the choral program have once again excelled in competition. This past Saturday at Whitehouse High School a total of 21 choir students earned superior (1) ratings at the Region 21 Solo/Ensemble contest.

Lindsay Marsh and Alexandria Hull received superior ratings on class two solos.

The following 19 (new record) choral singers received superior ratings on class one solos AND now have advanced to the state level in May:

Haley Brems, Will Brown, Bailey Bower, Kristen Clark, Kailey Consford, Audrey Dean, Lawrence De Vera, Hunter Dickins, Patrick Granberry, Hailey McCutcheon, Kayla Luptak, Josh Luper, Katura Parker, Dylan Price, Isaac Sanders, Andria Shackelford, Clara Smith, Hannah Stewart, Kaitlin Woodard

76% of those auditioning with a class one solo advanced to state! Some of the judges' comments included:

  • such a polished performance
  • love your attention to detail
  • fabulous German diction
  • Wow! That was stunning!
  • thank you for being so well prepare
