Spotlight submission guidelines
Please follow these guidelines when submitting information for inclusion in the Spotlight:
-- Send an electronic copy via e-mail of the information you wish posted to erica.covey@bullardisd.net and lee.sleeper@bullardisd.net. Please do not send hard copy. We will work together to make sure the information is posted as quickly as possible in an acceptable format. As a rule, we will copy from your e-mail information and paste into the web page, so double check your accuracy prior to sending.
-- Please include all information, providing Who, What, When, Where.
-- If the information is timely and must be posted after-hours, please e-mail the information to lee.sleeper@bullardisd.net and then call him at 903-752-3774 to make sure it posted in a timely manner. He is available 5:30 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-9 p.m. on weekends.
-- Please do not use all caps in your submission.
-- Please do not use any special formatting, i.e., insertion of multiple tabs, spaces, special fonts, etc., to make the copy look attractive. This type of formatting does not translate to the web and must be removed prior to posting. Give us the information and we will take care of the formatting.
-- Please use 10 to 12 point Times New Roman or Arial for all submissions.
-- Students in grades 8-12 can be identified by name in pictures. The agreement that is signed by their parents allows us to publish that information. Students in the lower grades cannot be identified by name in pictures unless we have a release signed by their parent.
